Mike cut his teeth in academia and in the business world long before joining the firm founded by his father. Mike graduated from the University of Virginia in 1978 with a BS in Government and remained there to earn his MBA from the Darden School in 1981. He went to work for Marriott Corporation in the Corporate Planning Department and was responsible for analysis of corporate acquisitions and the sale of over billion in hotel assets through a variety of public offerings. Mike was the first employee of the Carlyle Group, one of the largest asset management firms in the world, and was responsible for the analysis of over .5 billion in acquisitions and investments made by the Carlyle Group and over million in direct investments made by its equity partners.

With that impressive background in hand, Mike joined McEnearney Associates in 1997, charged with the responsibility of growing and improving our Property Management Department. Under Mike's leadership, the department has almost tripled in size, and currently manages a portfolio of residential properties for our clients valued in excess of $350,000,000.

Cindy is the Office Manager for our Property Management Department. She works out of the McLean office.

A lifelong resident of Northern Virginia, I bring over two decades of expertise as a licensed Realtor and hold a Property Manager certification. Since joining McEnearney in the spring of 2014, I have actively contributed to Local & State Committees for the years 2022, 2023, and 2024. What distinguishes me is a genuine passion and unwavering enthusiasm for Real Estate and Residential Property Management.

My commitment to excellence is evident through rigorous training in structural aspects, maintenance, repairs, inspections, and a comprehensive understanding of market dynamics for rental properties. Proficient in navigating the complexities of Landlord and Tenant relations, I have honed the skills necessary to effectively represent you and your property.

Recognizing the significance of real estate holdings within your portfolio, I am dedicated to ensuring that your assets are managed with the utmost care and consideration. My approach is characterized by diligence, dedication, and a personalized commitment to your unique needs.

Outside of my professional pursuits, I find joy in travel, snorkeling, and hiking during my leisure time. I'm here when you need me.

Jack Schwinn was born and raised in Rockville, Maryland. An avid reader of history, he spent his life exploring the diverse neighborhoods and world-class museums of Washington, DC. Jack received his Bachelors of Arts in History with honors at the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2013. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling the world, having traveled to over 20 countries and 5 continents to date. He is also an avid DC area sports fan!

Jack is a Senior Property Manager in our DC office and has managed homes and condominiums in the Washington D.C. area since 2013. He loves the ever-changing challenges and client interactions that come with the job and takes pride in maintaining some of Washington, DC's oldest homes.

Cindy is a residential Senior Property Manager at the Alexandria office managing rental properties in the 22314, 22301, and 22305 Alexandria zip code areas. She is a distinguished real estate professional, recognized throughout Northern Virginia for her excellent service and reputation. She has lived in the Alexandria area since 1978.

As a Senior Property Manager, Cindy’s role is to represent property owners and investors keeping their best interests foremost in mind. She enjoys solving problems and handling each property in her care with personal pride. She is very personable, honest, loyal, detailed, and a hard worker. You can always count on Cindy to get the job well done.

Activities and Affiliations
Cindy is an active member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), the Virginia Association of Realtors (VAR), and the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors (NVAR). A licensed Realtor since 1983 for 40 years.

She has been a member of the NVAR Professional Standards Committee and a chair and member of the Property Management and Leasing Committee.
